DO NOT HIRE! You will 100% regret it! Please please PLEASE do your research! Make sure you google reviews before hiring. He will come to court looking any type of way, lie about filing motions to get more money out of you, he does not study the case he’s working AT ALL. He is money hungry because no one hires him because of his sooo many bad reviews on google. I hired him very last minute to appear in court for my boyfriend who was charged with retail theft. They had 0 evidence on my boyfriend because he never went into the store! Kevin said his retainer fee was $2500 but he was okay with us sending him $1,000 to start the case. We paid him, He came to court the next day with food stains on his shirt, very careless in appearance, misspelled my boyfriend’s name on every document, had no clue about the case! He did NOT want to fight the case what so ever he basically just went with whatever the court said. I had to do ALL the work, I suggested points he could argue in court and he told me (as if I am some type of paralegal) to go on the courts website and find documents to support that arguememt. Which I did, he then took it to court to argue for bail and said every single thing wrong!! After poor representation, and reading reviews outside of thumbtack I realized he’s done this PLENTY of times before! Just read the google reviews, the same thing that happened to them has happened to us! Please do your research and take your time. You are better off with a public defender. I included some google reviews (they are all bad, this is why he’s on thumbtack now)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally charge flat fees for bankruptcy and criminal/motor vehicle cases. I charge an hourly rate for divorce and family law matters.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do continuing legal education each year. I also participate in peer attorney groups in which we discuss bankruptcy issues.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After graduating from the University of Massachusetts in 1987 I searched for a profession in which I could really make a difference in people's lives. I found that in the law.
