We had a particular request that a prior welder came out and botched. We needed structure on a hollow metal door to screw a latch plate onto. The pior welder welded the latch plate, BUT latch plates must come on an off to change out a knob or replace the actual latch. Tinker fixed it!!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to be extremely affordable. If it's something I can do quickly I will only charge for the time. I will only adjust my price for materials. If I quote something and it takes me longer than I expected, that's on me. I thought that was the way it was supposed to work for everyone, but I guess I was mistaken.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To get as much information on what they want the finished product or project to look like. There may be a more efficient and affordable way to accomplish what is needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have formal training in motorcycle mechanics, bartending, automatic door testing and safety, welding, fire door regulations, locksmithing, and I have been working in the commercial door and hardware industry for 20 years.
