- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
GO TO THE HOME , MEET THE FAMILY AND THE PET , CHECK OUT THE LIVING SITUATION FOR THE PET ,GIVE SUGGESTIONS IF NEEDED .LISTEN TO QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS ANYONE MAY HAVE RE CARE,FOOD , OUT OF CAGE TIME ETC... TEND TO THE PETS AND OFF I GO ! BUT NEVER TOO FAR FOR A QUESTION OR CONCERN , CUSTOMERS HAVE MY HOME PHONE , CELL PHONE , EMAIL ADDRESS , HOME ADDRESS , I AM HERE FOR THEM ANY TIME THEY NEED ME .
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
i have just completed a course at vins in vermont on birds,wild birds and rehabbing. I am pijac certified and consider each day a lesson as i deal with new birds with new issues. I dont think i will ever get to the point where i know enough
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
STARTING VOLUNTEERING AT ANIMAL RESCUE LEAGUE IN BOSTON WHEN I WAS 13 YRS OLD , I ALREADY HAD A GREAT LOVE AND DESIRE TO BE AROUND ANIMALS AND IT HAS NEVER CHANGED .
