Introduction
I work to impart the enthusiasm for the instrument, and for music, that I see in the people I teach. Age and perceived levels don't mean anything.
I'm happy to help others enjoy music on these instruments as I do. Sharing information is a continuous process.
In today's new COVID reality, I am glad to offer remote lessons on Zoom as well as socially distanced in-house lessons at my residence. Stay healthy everyone.

I have been taking guitar lessons from Mike for about a month now and I prefer him over guitar teachers that I have had in the past that just didn't seem to stick. He's a very fun and hands-on teacher! He seems very passionate about music. He is very energetic and makes me look forward to class every week! I always leave with something to practice to improve my skills. I definitely recommend him!

As a beginner guitar player Mike has the patience and makes learning fun. In just 1 month I am now playing simple 3 chord songs . I would recommend Mike to anyone who is interested in playing the guitar.

Lessons with Mike are fun and informative. He tailors lessons to the players needs and is open to showing or teaching different styles. He is flexible about scheduling and always willing to make adjustments to suit the player. Not only does he provide a great atmosphere for learning, he inspires practice at home - which is the best way to make the most out of any lesson. Very comfortable person to work with, some days we will spend time after the lesson just chatting music. Highly recommended! Thanks Mike.
