Ms. Wendt has been grooming my two dogs, a Standard Poodle and Labradoodle for many years. She loves her job and it shows in the care she takes to achieve the perfect groom cut. My poodle has a traditional poodle cut, always looks fabulous and Lesley is great at picking up my slack, meaning I don't do well with maintenance:). She is also very respectful of the owner's wishes, whether it be "don't cut too short" or "please make a heart shape". She loves the difficult and fun grooms! Lesley loves animals, has a background with dog training and showing, which translates well in her ability to work with all dog personalities. You're dog will thank you. Melissa Young

Lesley does a great job on my cocker spaniel, "Sadie" she will listen to what you want for your dog and suggest things that will make the grooming experience come out the way you want.

Lesley is an excellent groomer. She always makes our little dog Patches look great. We get so many compliments from other people, tell us how cute our little doggie daughter looks. Lesley is also good about reminding us when Patches needs her nails trimmed too; in between grooming appointments. I highly recommend her, and her grooming skills.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We don't have a set price for full grooms. Each pet is unique from their hair length, coat type and length of time it takes to groom the dog/cat. We do have nail trim services we offer any time for $10.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to ask as many questions as possible to really be able to understand what you would like your pet to look like when they are fully groomed. What length do you like the body? Short, long, rounded or straight ears? How do you like the face? Do you like the tail long, short, medium? All these questions help me get to know what you like as an owner. Pictures of your pet groomed the way you like is always helpful!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a groomer since I was 13 years old. I started off bathing and brushing dogs out. Over the years I learned how to do various trims, shave and breed clips. I also show dogs which helps see the finest side of things. But I know what it's like to just want your pet smelling and looking great!
