Scott came over, did the demolition, said he'd come back the next day to finish the project. We talked about additional jobs I would have for him in the near future as well. Didn't show, didn't communicate, and ignored texts and messages on Thumbtack for three days. Shows as having been online.Mar 20, 2019Verified
In addition to Scott’s professionalism, quality, and responsiveness...he was very punctual, and his pricing was extremely fair. We hired him based on a quoted price, but when it came time to write the check he reduced substantially because the job took far less time than he thought. Excellent job, and btw...a pretty nice guy! Definitely hire him again.Jan 1, 2019Verified
Trim or Molding Installation
We hired these guys to install a chair rail in a room we were remodeling. We painted it ourselves but didn’t have the tools required to install the chair rail properly. These guys were reasonably priced and did an okay job but I don’t really feel like I got what I paid for. If I’m paying someone to install something, I guess I expect it to be 100% completed. But they nailed the chair rail to the wall and that was it. I did’t pay them to paint so I wasn’t expecting that but none of the nail holes or cut seams were sealed. I can paint but I’m no contractor so the finished job definitely doesn’t look professional unfortunately. For the amount I paid, I just expected for them to do that work.Jul 19, 2019VerifiedM&M Home Improvements's reply
Hi Michael, I apologize for the miscommunication on this. Nail holes, seams etc are usually filled and sanded by whoever is painting as they know what color paint is being used and can match the caulking and filler needed. When we weee complete this issue was never brought up prior to us leaving
