Mike Capone has been my go-to inspector for the past 5 years. As a veteran real estate agent, I know the importance of a home inspector in the home buying and selling process. We bought a house in 2018 and Mike Capone was the inspector. He did an extremely thorough job and was professional the entire time. Based on his recommendations, we had the chimney inspected prior to buying and good thing we did as the estimate of work came back at ~$10,000! We were able to negotiate it into our contract but we're lucky he asked the questions! He ensured everything was working properly from the faucets to the power outlets. We've been living in the house for almost 2 years and still not issues (and it's a log cabin). I will continue to highly recommend working with Mike and will surely use him in the future. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
VA and First time buyer discounts. 99% of the time home inspections cost between $350.00 - $400.00. Condos range from $250.00 - $325.00 Radon monitors used to test. We do not use canisters. Water and radon testing prices are competitive. Please call us for more information.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is very easy. 1.Find days and times for your NH home inspection. This is done with your NH agent and sellers agent. 2.How to schedule a home inspection. Call Mike from Structure Check and get on the home inspection schedule. 3. What to expect at your home inspection. Inspection day you get an educational lesson on how your new home operates. Get a PDF home inspection report that day with all noted defects and recommended services/updates. 4.With in 48-72 hours get all Radon test results and water test results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
InterNachi and ASHI certified. ICC,BPI and Resnet approved courses for CE credits. Contractor experienced.
