My name is Bernie Porter and I am the owner and founder of Porter Shipping & Towing. I started this company back in 2011, transporting campers. I have proudly served in the Army National Guard since 2015. I bring the same enthusiasm to PS&T as I do while serving the United States.

Needed a project car towed. Porter went above and beyond with his services! Was a huge help in moving the vehicle, he has a winch so he could easily pull the vehicle onto the trailer. If I need any other towing or shipping service I will be contacting Porter!

After a disappointing experience with another company, I called Porter S&T. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the quick response and meticulous plow job. Great from beginning to finish! Communication was effective; initial contact to signing the move contract took a few days and then the job itself was a few days afterwards. The work itself was moving an upright piano within a 25 mile distance. Two people worked the job with a pick-up truck and a U-Haul trailer. The piano was wrapped first in transparent-green moving/stretch wrap and then covered with moving blankets. Then, the piano was secured within the trailer using straps. The two-men crew utilized a two-person moving straps to move the piano up a few stairs and into the final location. There were no issues with the piano after it was delivered. They also took one of our other upright pianos but that job is linked to another person (receiving it) and I know it was delivered without issue as well. All in all, I was satisfied with the quality of service.
Other piano moving services quoted nearly twice as much, which I am sure will be important for high-valued piano moves (i.e., pianos costing more than $10K). For relatively inexpensive upright piano moves, PS&T did the work sufficiently and with professionalism. I would utilize them again in similar moving situations.
