Hi have had Bill teach three of my children. My oldest son took lessons for several years in the early 2000's. These lessons had such a positive impact and at 24 years old he still plays, remembering what he learned so long ago. In 2010 my 12 year old son and my 14 year old daughter were interested in guitar. I knew immediately I would call Bill again. He taught both the kids for three years, at that point my daughter decided to stop. My son is still taking lessons and is still really interested. Bill really enjoys teaching music and it comes through to the kids. He is teaching them how to read the music not just memorize. He pushes them to be more commited, to try harder, and to learn and grow as musicians. He tries to train them with good practice habits. I recommend Bill highly. He has been fantastic.

As a longtime "self taught" guitarist, I began taking lessons with Bill to improve my overall understanding, theory, and to improve my playing ability. He has a no-nonsense approach to instructing. He has an extremely adept musical knowledgable. Bill has a very patient teaching style - not afraid to deliver the material several different ways to ensure that you grasp an understanding. I have observed him with other students and coupled with my own experiences, I find him to be firm and fair; never speaking down to anyone and modifying his teaching techniques to reach a variety of student abilities and playing levels. For me personally, Bill has "connected a lot of dots" and increased my playing and knowledge of the guitar exponentially; in spite of the fact tat I had been "playing" for years. I'm amazed at how much I didn't know until I began lessons with him. He has also provided a good amount of reference materials which help to bridge the information being instructed during lessons. I often refer to this material. I would highly recommend Bill as a musical instructor and music mentor.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not complicated. If I drive to you lessons are $50 an hour. If I can fit you in a "route" I can offer half hour at $25. If you volunteer for my wife's legitimate non-profit I'll give you a better deal!! ask about those details!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First establish what the goals are. Second assess what level the player is at : absolute beginner, intermediate, semi professional or professional. Discuss the plan we will implement to help acheive your goals quickly and have fun during the process!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Berklee graduate. I am CONSTANTLY learning Music is AMAZING!!
