Black Dog recently completed two major projects in my home a full master bathroom remodel and, later, a complete kitchen renovation and I couldnt be more pleased with the results. From the very beginning, their process stood out. They took the time to meet in advance, walk through the details, and make sure every aspect of the project was clearly understood. Their design knowledge, thoughtful recommendations, and overall professionalism made the planning stage both easy and enjoyable.We were living in the home throughout the renovations, and the crew went out of their way to make the experience as smooth and minimally disruptive as possible. Their respect for our space and daily routine was truly appreciated.The entire process from selecting finishes and products to the final walkthrough was handled with care and expertise. The craftsmanship is excellent, and the finished spaces exceeded our expectations. We had Blackdog Builders help us design and remodel our master bathroom. It started with a design consultation, with the Blackdog designer, John, helping us figure out what we wanted, showing us many variations, choosing our materials, cabinets, counters and designing a new closet in what was wasted space. It was so easy with John guiding us the whole way. Then we had Anthony as our lead carpenter. He was always on time, courteous, and kept our house so clean while the construction was ongoing. Anthony provided a written daily log (with photos) of what was done. He often double checked even the smallest details to be sure everything was perfect. The subcontractors were just as punctual and great to work with. They also made sure their plans were up to date and that the work was precisely done. Blackdog uses their own subcontractors so the coordination is done through Blackdog, they trust their people and it was seamless for us. I cannot say enough about the care taken while every worker was in our house. Our new bathroom came out amazing. We will work with Blackdog again and we have recommended them to our neighbors.

I had a total bathroom remodel plus structural updates and everyone was wonderful from John the designer to Danny the project manager. John Pepper the contractor was so easy to work with that the entire project just flowed so smoothly. The bathroom looks great and Ive gotten a lot of compliments on it so thanks to everyone on the team for taking care of all my needs.

This is our second time working with Blackdog Design. Our first time working with Blackdog Design was for a full remodel of our kitchen and the project went so well that we decided to call on them again for remodeling two upstairs bathrooms and to replace all of the wall to wall carpet on the 2nd floor with hardwood flooring. The team we worked with for the project was fantastic! John, the project designer, listened to our ideas about what we wanted to change and the direction that we had for the design and then worked very collaboratively with us to provide multiple options to choose from and provide practical solutions to achieve the look and feel we were hoping for while also making it functional and beautiful. Bree, the project manager, worked with us to set an aggressive timeline, kept us informed on all of the different stages, and was a master at troubleshooting issues that popped up but still keeping the project on time. Patrick, lead carpenter and daily contact, kept us informed on day-to-day progress, kindly explaining everything that was being done, and tackling some challenging issues like rebuilding a wall to work with the new medicine cabinets and plumbing that was being installed. All of the subcontractors brought in to do tile work, plumbing, flooring, and painting did an excellent job. We are very happy with the results of working with Blackdog Design on our two remodeling projects and can highly recommend them.
