Introduction: I am truly passionate about makeup, as well as skincare. I am constantly studying new tends and techniques. I attend classes to keep up with my skill set on a regular basis as I feel you are only as good as the time you put into perfecting your craft. Makeup is more than just "looking pretty" to me, it's a true art and I consider the face as my canvas. I love the thought of being able to make my clients feel beautiful and confident. There's no better feeling than showing your client the finished product and seeing their eyes light up with happiness. I absolutely LOVE being a makeup artist!

Amanda is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!!! She had me (bride) and three other bridesmaids on my wedding day. Amanda showed up ready to work and stayed right on schedule the entire time. I received sooooo many compliments on how stunning I looked on my wedding day. I would recommend her for any event!!! Note the four women Amanda worked on we're all very different complexions and looks. All I can say is wow. And my makeup was perfect ALL DAY!!!!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a MAC pro member and a Makeup Magazine Pro card holder whom sponsors the IMATS (International Makeup Artist Trade Show) and they both have frequent classes that I attend whenever I possibly can.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been so interested in makeup and cosmetics. I had always been asked by friends and family to do their makeup for different events as well as tips on what I did to my own face and I really enjoyed making them feel beautiful so what better choice than to make a career out of something you love to do?!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my work is weddings and bridal makeup. I do have lots of prom requests around that time of the year. I've also done birthdays and bachelorette parties as well as makeup parties where I share tips and tricks on how to achieve certain looks, which are so much fun!!
