Patrick went above what was expected. Having to run to two different stores to find the right pieces to fit an older home.Nov 29, 2017Verified
Mr Harvey and his crew did excellent work for us. When minor issues and unanticipated events occurred they dealt with them immediately and completely. I would and have recommended them to anyone who asks about our 3 season porch conversion. Several people have commented on how great it looks!Nov 10, 2017Verified
Everything was great! Efficient and punctual! Looking forward to working on more upcoming projects.Dec 18, 2017Verified
Professional and prompt upgrade of our old barn. Quickly and cost effectively reinforced the structure and upgrafes with new windows and a staircase. He completed the project with suggestions of the best solution and now we feel safe using the building .Apr 6, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For general carpentry and handyman services, we charge a a base rate of $150 for each project, then $45 for the remainder of the project. On projects we work a bit different. Instead of just providing a quote, we provide a detailed materials list and quote (so you know exactly what we are using for your project), A proposal detailing exactly what we will be doing for you, our insurance information, how much we are charging for labor, and finally a written 5 year guarantee on our work. We allow clients to purchase materials directly, and expect no payment until we arrive on-site and start work. We are more than happy to provide a quote for your whole project, and as always all consultations are free.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I first like to meet with the customer so they can "walk me through the project", I can then make recommendations, and accurately price out the job. I like to make sure that the customer is comfortable with me, and is fully aware of the process going forward. What they can expect to happen, when, and most importantly how much it will cost.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My training has been all on-the-job. From learning from my father as a young man, up thru working as a foreman on a framing crew. I have also been the operations manager for a mobile home park, as well as working for a developer who "flipped" mobile homes. Beyond that I am always searching the net, looking for new ways and new products to do my work more efficiently.
