I can't say enough about the positive experience of working with the Murphy brothers and their team. I needed extensive exterior carpentry repairs and a full exterior paint job on my house. I was given an estimate of 7 days to complete the task and that is exactly how long it took. The full crew and supervisors were here on time every morning and put in a full productive day. Most of the time we had 4 painters on the house. It did rain one day and the crew showed up to treat and paint my shutters in the garage. They did not waste any time but made all time productive. Every person on the crew, from the owner on down, were highly skilled professionals and all were professional, courteous and very nice people to work with. Their work is extraordinary and they always go the extra distance to make sure the job is done correctly. They do many little things that make the outcome even better than expected. My house now looks like it was built yesterday. The work was excellent, the price was competitive and fair, the time to complete the project was right on estimate and all members of the crew were a delight to work with. I have not criticisms to offer. I can think of nothing they could have done better. I would recommend Shawn Murphy (Murphy Painting), Dan Murphy (Murphy Remodeling) as a team or individually, and their crew without the slightest hesitation. I am very pleased with tis experience.

I was looking for a local carpenter in the area I had just moved to, and I used this website.
I cannot be more pleased with the professionalism and skills, and finished product Dan has produced.
He not only was on time with all his proposed deadlines and suggestions of the project for my home, he exceeded my expectations! I proudly show everyone the work that Dan has done, and I will always refer his name to anyone who is thinking of remodeling their homes. Dan is very personable and prompt, was never hard to talk to and was always responding to my questions whether through email or phone. The budget that he proposed was very reasonable and he stayed within that budget. Dan never tried to sell services that werent needed. His approach was straight forward. What is the customers request, and what is the budget of the customer? He then lays out a plan for material, labor and timeline. Thats it straight forward and it all came together with a great finished project. Again, if youre looking for a remodeling contractor look no further for quality customer service and exceptional professionalism and fantastic finished product! It was a pleasure doing business with Dan! I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. Im already thinking of other projects that I will be calling him for!

We recently moved to a new home and have been searching for a carpenter to help us build and install a kitchen island. Dan did not hesitate to meet us in person to discuss our project. When we met Dan, he was extremely personable, which is definitely one of his strongest qualities. Other qualities that really stood out for us was his workmanship, professionalism, courtesy and responsiveness to emails, phone calls and text messages.
Dan has delivered in every aspect as he promised since day 1 without any surprises or cut corners whatsoever. His insight and experience is an asset that has helped us finish our kitchen exactly as we imagined and his workmanship left us extremely happy with the finished project.
