FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, we keep updated on the changes going in the medical transcription field and keep the staff updated also.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I originally went to school to be a medical secretary and was working as one though I always loved the transcription. While working in a medical clinic at one point, one of the fellows who graduated and opened up a practice decided to hire me to do her office transcription. After that she started giving my name out to other physcians and so it went .....eventually I took a part-time job in a hospital to round out my transcription experience more, and from there went on to take a transcription supervisor position as well as continuing to transcribe for physicians on the side and expanding my transcription business.
