Introduction: Hi I’m Sean Weissman, owner and sole piano technician of SW Piano Tuning LLC Please feel free to take a look at my Facebook profile connected as well as my website and see some recent projects I’ve been doing! I look forward to meeting you and being your piano technician for years to come. I began my piano tuning career in 2001, I was mentored and trained by my father in the art of piano tuning and repair. The skills acquired in my younger years gave much opportunity in the industry throughout high school and college. My first job in college, showroom piano tuner of Steinway dealer, Dollarhide’s Music Center in Pensacola FL, was pivotal and made me realize that this was what I was going to do with my life. Shortly after moving back to New Jersey, I continued work as a professional piano tuner for Cunningham Piano Company. Throughout this journey I was really able to hone my skills in multiple areas as a piano technician. Of recent, I worked full time with my father for years servicing the tri-state area until I started my own piano tuning company. As the sole technician of SW Piano Tuning, I look forward to servicing your piano with the best quality piano tuning service in Greater-Philadelphia Area.

Sean Weissman is AMAZING! He was so professional, got the job done quickly, plays piano so well, and was extremely personable and friendly. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing on my page is based on a piano that has been maintained in recent years. If the piano has not been tuned in a very long time, our initial visit may take longer than a standard tuning would. I put a lot of time and dedication into getting pianos back in shape that have not been tuned in years. I really love giving new life to these pianos.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is to learn each and every one of my customers pianos. Each piano is tuned differently. Each piano with its unique tones it produces needs to be cared for accordingly. As I go into a customers home I love to build a relationship with the customer and also the piano itself.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained by master technicians in tuning and repair, regulation, voicing, and case repair. I’m fully certified through PianoDisc to install their products and I’m trained in piano Humidity Control Installation.
