Goal(s) of golf lessons

Responds in about 3 hours

Introduction: Up To Par Golf takes every player and evaluates and discusses goals with the player. Those goals are then compared to the player’s current playing level and a plan is developed to help the student in the correct direction. This process is called the ‘Staircase of Learning’. This is a plan of action to help the student stay on track to work towards goals that are realistic and attainable. This is a proven method to keep motivation high. This will also show the student his or her progress as they move up the staircase to achieve the ultimate goal of becoming a better player. As much as I enjoy playing golf, I enjoy teaching even more. I am lucky enough to be a position that I am able to share this great game with others. Watching people succeed and get better is my true passion. I am able to wake up every morning and look forward to the day ahead. This enables me to give my best lesson to each and every client.

Excellent first lesson with Chris. Identified issues with my swing/stance and grip and provided remedy to correct them. Very happy with results.

I've met with Chris a handful of times now and have definitely seen improvements in many parts of my game! I highly recommend him if you are in the market for personal, private golf lessons at a very reasonable price. Chris is extremely knowledgeable about the game of golf and he is easy to get along with. The schedule flexibility is great as well and his post-lesson video reviews help reinforce everything you went over during that specific lesson. I'm looking forward to many more lessons with him to get the most potential out of my game!

I was looking to get some help with my swing and stance. Chris was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me tremendously with my swing and stance. I can tell Chris truly enjoys teaching and is not in it for the money. I recommended him to a friend who will be taking a lesson tomorrow!

So far so good, I’ve had 2 private lessons and I see improvement. I realize this will take time, on the right track. Chris is easy to connect with and is clear in his instruction. I plan on getting a package moving forward, stay tuned.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

After our initial lesson, I work with each individual client to come up with a package of lessons that fits best with their goals and budget.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

After playing golf in high school, I was left with a tough decision about what to do with my future. I was torn between going to play college golf or starting a career in golf management. Lucky I was able to do both. I decided to attend 'The Golf Academy of America' in Myrtle Beach, SC. While I was there I was able to graduate with a associates of business in Golf Facility Management, with certificates in Advanced Teaching, Club Fitting & Repair, and Tournament Administration. I was also able to play in weekly golf tournaments, and pass The Golf Academy Playing Ability Test.
