Introduction: I provide math and SAT tutoring. I am an experienced tutor with strong individual teaching skills. I tutor all math through calculus BC, statistics, and pre-calculus. I have a John Hopkins' math degree and current 2350 combined SATs. I often help students improve from D or F to A.

I first contacted Joseph Hammerman to help my son who was having difficulty with tests in Algebra 2/Trig. He was able to build my son's knowledge and confidence sufficiently to raise his test scores by two grades. He continued to work with him for SAT prep, with my son scoring 720 on his first try. We are continuing tutoring for a second sitting of the SAT and possibly the SAT Math Subject test. We are very happy with the one-on-one attention that he has given our son. He is especially good with question and answer, give and take exchanges. He is clearly very strong in all aspects of Mathematics and test taking strategies. I would certainly recommend him for Mathematics tutoring.

My daughter is taking Algebra 2 honors in he freshman year so it was difficult for her from begginng to catch up the program. We decided to find a tutor for her and found Mr. Hammerman. He is extremely patient and very knowledgeable. He has been working with my daughter for two month and her math skill and confidence improved greatly. Since then her grades went from C+ to A and gets above 90 in her test and quizzes. Mr. Hammermen is always available when we need him and is always on time. We would highly reccomend him as a math tutor.

We are having Joseph guide my son with SAT prep. We are very happy we found him. His lesson planning is very much tailored to what my son needs and we see that my son has made great progress within these three months that Joseph has been coming. My son's math SAT score has improved from 680 to 780. We then switched to other areas, and Joseph has also helped my son make great improvements in his writing score. Would highly recommend this tutor to anyone!

Joseph is super nice. Worked miracles for my daughter. She pulled her grade up from an F to a B in a short time. I am definitely keeping him on my contact list for my other children. I would recommend him to anyone who is struggling.
