As you plan your special day, you'll be looking for the perfect wedding officiant to help make your ceremony special, warm, memorable and entirely personal. My philosophy is “your wedding, your way” that includes me working within your budget!
Over the past 15 years as a Non-Denominational Minister, I have performed hundreds of wedding ceremonies, working with couples of all faiths and cultures. But I don't just perform the wedding—I help create the wedding ceremony. Whether it's a civil, spiritual or religious ceremony, my experience will bring the most important parts of your relationship into the service, so together we will make your wedding personally and deeply meaningful as you commit yourselves to each other.

Many couples are intrigued by the idea of creating vows, but don't know where to start. I offer a variety of services that will capture the spirit of your relationship. Whether you are religious or not, together we will craft a ceremony that will that express the deep love and connection you feel for each other.

Best experience I could’ve asked for! I was able to get service with only two weeks notice and it was not even a slight problem! Between texts and emails it was so easy to stay in contact and update things as time went on, especially with any last minute questions or concerns he answered any text, call or email immediately and last minute adjustments were no problem! I asked to take a part out of my ceremony last minute and within 5 minutes I had a new, updated ceremony layout emailed back to me. Obviously not being married before we weren’t 100% sure how everything went especially with choosing what kind of ceremony and vows we wanted, but he walked us through the whole thing! He showed up early, explained how everything went and made the day go very smoothly! Not to mention ALL FOR A GREAT PRICE! Rev. Joseph is by far the most friendly, funny and helpful person and we couldn’t have gotten luckier! Thank you for everything!

Rev. Josh Schmidt was amazing. We had a very small ceremony and it was last minute, we expected very little. He made our little event magical he treated it as if we were in a room full of 100s and prepared everything so professionally. He was warm and accommodating. Not judgmental of the informal situation and made our night so much more than we planned. Thank you so much for making our special night so much more than we thought it would be.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing for my services is flexible depending on the time involved and the travel distance. My ultimate goal is to work within your budget to make your ceremony memorable and unique.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
These are the basic steps I take when working with a new couple. First, we will chat on the phone or a zoom meeting so I can find out exactly what you are looking for and to explain various ceremony options to you. If you want to move forward after that, these are the basic steps included in my services:

Performing the Ceremony
The official filing of the marriage license with the local municipality
*On the day of the ceremony, I always arrive between 60-90 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to coordinate with the venue host, musicians, videographer, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a fully ordained non-denominational minister. I have been performing ceremonies throughout NJ, PA and NY for over ten years.
