Julie really did outstanding work when we came to her to help with upgrades to our daughters small room. She took the hodge podge of ideas I had and made them functional and substantial. She recommended specific items to cater to my needs and gave me options without overwhelming me with too many options or ideas. She was a fantastic sounding board for all the ideas I had and responded with specific features she pulled from the conversation to make sense of it all. In the end we got the perfect room for our daughter to grow into with an immense amount of space a functionality. I even got a bonus bookcase out of it! Looking forward to working with her again and hopefully you will get the chance as well!!

I had the pleasure of collaborating with Julie and Jeff on decorating my home , and I couldn’t be more pleased. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out. Not only did they understand my vision, but enhanced it w their expertise and creative touch.
They were incredibly easy to work with, receptive to my ideas and feedback & willing to make iterations to ensure the final design exceeded my expectations.
I have trouble visualizing things in my space & Julie was wonderful with creating 3D (I think that’s what they are called) boards for me to visualize pieces we chose in each of the rooms. She helped align my vision, bringing new ideas and taking in all my feedback and communicating very well with me. I must reiterate that Julie’s communication was amazing!!! She is quick to reply to text or calls and emails. She and her partner are also very thoughtful in their approach and how they work. They take greater pride in what they do. I am so beyond grateful to have found them on Thumbtack.
Overall, the experience was seamless and I’m thrilled with how the home now perfectly reflects my personal style. I am over the moon with my results and will recommend PCP designs to anyone and everyone.

I had the best experience with psp design. From the first moment Julie reached out to me she was professional, so incredibly friendly and everything you could ask for. They were so accommodating with my situation and availability. They came out on Christmas Eve to make sure my daughter’s bike was put together for Christmas morning. They were incredible. Not to mention they put an adult tricycle together that was missing pieces and had zero instructions! I will definitely be contacting them in the near future and have already recommended them to my friends and family! Thank you so much guys! Happy new year!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our design story starts with you and your space. Give us all the details about how you use each room and area, plus backstories on how the area may have change or been used previously
Tell us about your priorities and goals - we'll use that to understand and define an approach on how we can help and support you.
A lot of this conversation will inform the level or type of changes you're expecting to transform the space, but we'll follow-up with questions anywhere more details would be helpful.
These meetings are pretty casual and truly intended to give you the stage to tell us what you need. No judgement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. degree in Engineering Physics which involved environmental design and building / materials coursework. Further experience and knowledge has been self-taught via online courses and hands-on experience with our own properties.
I combine my previous experience as a consulting manager (8+ years) with my appreciation of beautiful design to bring client’s dream to life. In my previous life, I was responsible for planning (scoping, budgeting) and delivering (managing teams and budget, client meetings, developing content) service-based projects to Fortune 500 companies. We now bring that polish to you and your projects.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We started as real estate investors focused on residential long-term and short-term rentals. Along the way, we discovered the transformative power of great design in creating spaces that not only attract tenants but also elevate their living experience. After successfully renovating and designing our own properties to maximize appeal and functionality, we realized we could bring that expertise to others. That passion for combining design with functionality is what led us to grow into a full-service interior design and home renovation studio.
