I had a very disappointing experience with this HVAC contractor. He came out late at night to diagnose an issue and, during the service, the unit ended up in worse condition than when he arrived. Despite not resolving the problem, he still expected me to pay approximately $1,000. After that, he told me the best solution was to replace the unit and represented that he could handle the replacement. I agreed based on that understanding. Later, he backed out and said he couldn't replace the unit after all, leaving me scrambling to find another contractor. To make matters worse, instead of working toward a resolution, he reported me to Thumbtack. From my perspective, I was left with a damaged, non-functioning HVAC system, a large bill for work that didn't solve the problem, and no replacement despite being told one would be provided. I understand that repairs don't always go as planned, but professionalism means standing behind your work, communicating honestly, and helping resolve issues—not leaving the customer in a worse position than before. Based on my experience, I would not use this contractor again.
