I hired Ricky as a present for our friends getting married in New York. Ricky met us in Times Square as a surprise to the newly wed couple. We booked him for two hours. Ricky was very well organised with all the equipment needed to ensure the correct light setting and surroundings which immediately put any concerns to bed that I'd hired a 'just a man with a camera' Ricky had a real professional approach and would keep snapping up until he was completely satisfied he'd got the perfect picture. He was directive and suggested many poses and angles. He suggested locations around Manhattan to get the best scene and knew his way around. All of the above was kind of what I expected, however what was really special and exceeded my expectations was Ricky's passion for photography and flexible approach to our day, our suggestions and requirements. This isn't simply a job for him and this was clear from the moment we met him. Our photos were received about 10 days after and were excellent quality, he had photoshopped any minor blemishes. The best wedding present ever - thank you Ricky

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I went to college for Visual Communications & Media Arts then I went into the workforce and made photography my hobby then it turned into my beloved profession.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common jobs are Engagements & Weddings. There are others like Family Portraits and the occasional Sports event.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Finding a photographer is like making friends. You want someone who you can enjoy this experience with. My Advice is to take your time. Call various photographers and ask questions.
