My experience working with Vibrant Image Photography and Sarah was downright awful and I would not recommend this photographer to anyone. I had my family photographed in Sarah's studio on April 1st, and the photos were ready to be viewed by April 10th, but I did not submit my selections for the digital releases included in the package I purchased until June 3rd because it was difficult to choose which photos were most acceptable. We had an uncooperative subject, and I was grateful that Sarah was able to get a few nice (smiling) shots, but the criticisms I received from my family and friends were not in regards to my niece's pouty face. Rather, complaints were of the large wrinkles in the backdrop which could be seen in the photos, the rusty metal and plastic school chair on which Sarah seated my niece, the abundance of background vs. subject in some of the shots, and the poor/minimal editing of the photos. When I did email Sarah with my photo selections on June 3rd, I did not receive a reply. Sarah's email policy clearly states that all emails are replied to within 24 hours. I very patiently waited until June 21st before contacting her a second time. When I still had not heard back from her on June 25th, I decided to try a Facebook message to Vibrant Image's FB page. The reply I received the same day was snarky, emotionally manipulative, and blamed the lack of reply on a 3 day trip + 2 weeks in the hospital (which still did not put Sarah within even 72, much less 24, hours of my original email). Still, she stated that I would have my photos later in the day and so I waited. More than 24 hours later I emailed Sarah again expressing my disappointment that I still had not received my digital releases. Sarah's reply to me was full of capitalized words accusing me of being, "rude," and, "heartless," and admonishing me for my behavior. The entire thing was so unprofessional that I could hardly believe it! In addition to being upset that my photos did not turn out as nicely as I expected, I am shocked and appalled at Sarah's lack of professionalism and her inability to effectively manage her business and live up to the promises she makes to her customers. I am grateful that my niece is still as cute today as she was in April and I can try again with another photographer. I would strongly caution those considering Vibrant Image Photography to capture moments that cannot be re-created (such as weddings) against working with this company. In fact, I would caution anyone that expects to be treated respectfully and to receive services as they were promised against working with Sarah. **Update: as if the above experience wasn't enough, I feel people should also know that Sarah went through a mutual acquaintance to view my Facebook page (which is not visible to the public) and viewed a post which simply stated that I would not recommend Vibrant Image. She went on to send me an outrageous message warning me that I ought to be careful what I post and that she will be suing me for, "slander." She also insulted my niece in this message. I implore all readers to please save themselves a headache and choose another photographer.
Vibrant Image Photography, LLC's reply
I have tried contacting Sara (the client who left the review privately to try and rectify this situation, but she has ignored all attempts) So I am writing this the day after having surgery 6/30 for an emergency gallbladder removal that landed me in the ER Friday morning 6/28...heck my hands are still numb from the anesthesia but I feel like my side of the story should be shared. Sara and her brother and niece came into my studio on April 1st for a session. There images were ready to be viewed on April 10th. I did not hear from Sara again until 6/2 when she emailed her selections to me. At no point in time did she state she had an issues with the photos, or I would have gladly offered to re-shoot her session at no cost, I would have gone above and beyond to throw in extras to make her happy. I will say that during her shoot, Sara was very nasty with me and giving me an attitude because her niece was not cooperating (as she even states above "We had an uncooperative subject, and I was grateful that Sarah was able to get a few nice (smiling) shots" I deal with kids all the time, and as a mother I am fully aware they are not always well behaved and that is no issue for me. I offered her niece little toys to take home etc to try and calm her down, even after she was throwing her purse at me, yelling and kicking while Sara did nothing to try and rectify the situation except to keep upsetting the little girl by telling her she was not getting ice cream for not cooperating. Which did not help at all to get the little one to cooperate, in fact made it worse. When Sara emailed her selections I was dealing with medical issues that had me out of work, when I was feeling better and able to reply I sent a message to her apologizing for the delay and told her I would be sending her images within 24 hours...It took me 36 hours due to a gallbladder episode that had me in pain. from which she replied... "Sarah, While I am truly sorry to hear of your hardship, I remain disappointed in your response to my concerns and failure to render services. Your reply stated that my photos would be uploaded yesterday and I would be provided with a link to access them. I have waited more than 24 hrs to contact you again and I have not received a link. Please provide me with access to the photos. Thank you, Sara Simmons" As for Sara saying I looked at her private facebook page...that is not the case as I told her, a mutual friend sent me the information she was posting. Sara goes on in the review to say her family and friends hated the photos...here is what they told her regarding the photos from our session that she posted...(if anyone would like to see I do have screen shots as well) Jillian J... "I love the ones with just her with a like oh I know your on trouble look ha." Karen L... "She has the cutest little face!!!" Melissa J... "She is adorable!!" Patricia D... "I'm partial to Sears Portrait. But there are a few cute ones here. I also have a friend who does amazing portraits." Marg S... "The pictures are beautiful, love them" Lauren C..."She's so cute!!" Pamela A... "Haha I love these! That's actually a lot if good shots." Carl T... "Haha, I think the frowny face is as cute as the smiling photos." Amber W... "Love this!" Sheri S..."LOL...SO CUTE" Rach C..."So adorable!!!" Marg S... "Love the pictures" Sara goes on to "warn" people to not use my services, especially for moments that can not be captured again...I implore all the readers here to please check out my feedback on LivingSocial, Groupon and Google, etc. Google Review from past bride... https://plus.google.com/… Feedback from a session I did for the Gold Hope Project which is a non-profit group for children with cancer https://www.facebook.com… Reviews from Groupon and LivingSocial https://www.dropbox.com/… I always go above and beyond for all my clients. So much so that when I posted on Facebook I was going into surgery, several clients sent Facebook, messages, text to my phone, cards and flowers to my house etc. I am beyond grateful that I have such supportive, kind, and truly great clients. Its them that I do this for. I guess its true when they say "you cant please them all" but people should know that I always go the extra mile not only for my friends and family, but also my clients. I am saddened that Sara would not let me prove that to her, as I truly wish all my clients are 100% happy and satisfied from their sessions. -Vibrant Image Photography Sarah Morciglio, Owner

Beyond thrilled with the photos from our daughters wedding celebration! We had a very intimate/small gathering with family and friends and Sarah was able to not only capture our daughter and son in laws unique personalities but she was able to give us memories that will last a lifetime. We highly recommend her for Weddings, and any other photographic needs (we have been loving the newborn shots she has been sharing lately online and we just KNOW she will the newborn photographer we run to when our daughter has her baby) Sarah goes above expectations and delivered so much more then we expected. Its great to know that there are still companies out there that value customers like she does.
