Service from Home fixed something my electric company couldn’t even though they came to my house twice. I made contact with Service for Home through the web early morning then texted me in that morning. They called me and made arrangements to come out to my house at their appropriate time because they only deal with one client at a time, which was a welcome change as I’ve had people in the past come into my home and leave because they have to go to another job and then come back. Walter explained to me that it would take time to do the work, because they only work on one job at a time and they will work on getting our problem fixed. We have baseboard heating and had no heat in the second and third floor of our house when we arrived home. Walter arrived after 8 o’clock on Wednesday and told me that they needed to bleed our system and do maintenance on the boiler, which our electric company did only the bleeding of some of my system, but couldn’t get all the water out. Walter and his staff was determined to get heat in our house that night, and within a few hours they got the heat to work! He said that my boiler needed maintenance on it too, that is also why the heat was not going on and that you should do that every 3 to 4 years, which we were never told. Walter called me first thing the next morning and asked me how things were going. The heat was not on the second and third floor and he said it’s because you need the maintenance on your boiler and they would be there thst day as planned. That day, he also found the motor that is attached to my chimney stack from my boiler had gone bad, which is something that should’ve been picked up by the electric company. I can’t thank Walter and his Staff enough for the excellent job that they did and for the way they talked us through everything they were doing - including following up each morning to make sure that we had heat in our house. I would definitely use them again for any projects that I would need in my home of plumbing.
