We hate to have to write this review regarding Rufus…. We actually waited over 3 months to do so because we wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but if you can avoid him at all costs please do so. He is not reliable! His job was completed over three months ago and he still has many large items left behind in our backyard. He also has a wall that needs to be painted but has abandoned this job as well. Many calls have been made to him and he would incessantly promise to come over to retrieve these items but then does not show up. His work is also mediocre, if that, we noticed that he does not do a clean finish on his work and that we’re already started to notice fissures and cracks in the walls and it’s only been less than 3 months since the job was done. Paint splashes noticed on the floor and so forth. We attempted to call him because he promised us that if we ever had an issue he’s just a phone call way. I do not think this behavior is warranted or justified as we have exhausted our savings to create a nice extension in our home. While he was working on our home there were many excuses that he lodged our way for not completing tasks on agreed upon dates. “His back hurts, overslept etc. “ Concerning the items left behind, I believe that he wants us to dispose of them on our own. He would like for us to burden the expense of paying for a truck to trash the items etc. We had a backyard that we needed to be used for our baby shower in October but we could not. Up till today December he still has sheet rocks and other items that need to be removed there. We have reached out countless times but to no avail. We got fed up with trying to reach out to no avail and are definitely considering going the legal route due to the quality of the work. Avoid, avoid, avoid! When he wants to be paid he will call excessively but when you’re trying to reach out to him he’s no where to be found after payment.
