Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. We performed property management services, apartment and house rental preperation services, handyman services, handy person services, multiple small project repairs, honey do list repairs, punch list repairs, odd jobs, home repairs, home improvements, property services, property maintenance, lawn maintenance, grass cuts, spring clean ups, fall clean ups, Estate/house clean outs, basement clean outs, attic clean outs, garage clean outs, trash outs, rubbish removal, debris removal, painting, power washing, power washing and cleaning decks, deck maintenance, deck repairs, deck staining, deck water proofing, deck sealing and above ground pools removed.

Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. 1) (Property Management Services)-Performed services to a 2 Family House which included painting to a first floor apartment and property maintenance to exterior of property as requested.

2) (Home Repairs and Maintenance)-Provided deck maintenance which included replacing defective/splintered deck boards, hand rails and water proofed new deck boards and hand rails as needed.

3) (Handyman Services)-Installed 2 window air conditioners for a new tenant for one of my business associates investment properties.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. When searching for a contractor, ask these questions:

1) Are you registered and licensed in the State of NJ.
2) Are you insured and have insurance certificate on file.
3) Any complaints reported to the better business bureau.
4) What is your rating with the better business bureau.
5) Have references and the last project job completed.
6) Do you provide free estimates or proposals.
7) Do you charge a fee for insurance loss estimates.

I always tell my potential customers that; when searching for contractors for estimates and proposals, make sure you investigate and research all contractors that they make contact with for services requested.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Consumers should ask the contractor, how many years of experience in the business as a professional, do you have a business license, general liability insurance, the last (3) project jobs completed, (3) job references and are you approved by the better business bureau.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Because we do it the old fashion way, one job at a time. All work is supervised by the owner himself.

A. GS Property Management & Home Improvements offers a wide variety of one stop shop services.

A. Can you quote me a price on the phone?
I tell the customer that the best way to give an free estimate is to schedule an appointment, meet the customer, provide them with copies of your business license and insurance as this will assure them that a percise and a free estimate will be given.

A. Customer service relationship, advertising, ad campaigns, discounts for senior citizens, police officers and non profit.
