My sister and I hired Richard to paint our entire condo and he did an OUTSTANDING job. Not only was he honest about pricing and always on time, but he also did a few other odd jobs that we threw at him without hesitation. He is knowledgeable, incredibly nice, and super thorough. We will most certainly hire him again when something else comes along that could use Richard's impeccable skills and workmanship. He is the complete package when it comes to home improvement!

A true gentleman and willing to work around my schedule. He did a very nice job washing the windows which was not an easy task in this old house because the windows stick and don't always open easily. He takes his time and is quiet when working. Richard does much more than just window washing and I would hire him again.

Richard Oates did quite a few jobs for me: installing a backup pump, fixing my laundry room doors, fixing my leaky sink and pipes, restoring our huge deck, and cleaning sunroom windows. It took four days. Richard impressed me by being reliable, showing up on time, was conscientious, diligent and precise-in his work, fair & honest with his time frame and fee. He knows his stuff and takes pride in his work! The quality of his work is excellent. The experience was great and I really am having trouble trying to find anything to comment on for improvement~

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer free no obligation estimates and those estimates are all in writing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet with a new customer, look over what has to be done then prepare a written quote and email that quote to the customer. The written quote is very specific as to what I would be responsible for, when the work can be completed and the price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 3 College degrees and worked in construction for 10 years. I am constantly upgrading to better tools, learning new techniques and use higher end materials.
