All done Professionally, Promptly, and Affordably by me, personally, in my home studios located in Brick, NJ (exit 91A off the Garden State Parkway) and Middletown, NJ 07748 (exit 114 or 117 off the GSP)

What is most important to my valued Thumbtack customers, is that the precious, irreplaceable memories of their Family, Friends, People, Places, Pets, and Things of the past, which were recorded onto Videotapes, Old Film reels or Color Slides are:
1. Properly handled and treated with the utmost of care - as if they were my own- while they are entrusted to me to digitally convert them to DVD, and if also desired, to USB Thumb Drive.
2. That they are done Professionally, Promptly, and Affordably, by me personally in my home studio, where they are safe and secure at all times.
3. That they are converted in their entirety - 100% - no videotape or film reel footage or any part thereof, or color slides are ever left uncaptured. If it's there...it's CAPTURED!
***Rest assured that I carefully and methodically check and guarantee you of this.
4. That you get ALL of your tapes or films or slides returned to you in their original condition, along with your NEW DVDs (and USB thumb drive if also ordered)
5. That your DVDs and Thumb Drives are quality checked for completeness and that they are made COMPATIBLE*** with and are playable in ANY of your devices: DVD player, computer, or laptop with an optical drive (DVD player) or a Smart TV.

NOTE: The minimum size orders for converting videotapes are 6-12 tapes (in any format and of any length)

My prices are already lower than most others, and have just been further reduced, exclusively for Thumbtack customers, to make having your transfers more affordable for you and your family to enjoy watching!
Prices are based upon the quantity and length of your videotapes and film reels and the quantity of color slides.
There is NO deposit or advance payment required. You will receive a receipt for your property along with an estimate of cost and turnaround time.
I get paid only upon completion of your conversions.

LOSS of IRREPLACEABLE MEMORIES
Most importantly, even if you don't hire me, DO NOT allow your memories to be "sent out somewhere" to "somebody" you never get to speak with, let alone ever meet in person. To do so is to risk the LOSS of your irreplaceable memories in transit. Unfortunately, this has happened to wonderful people like yourself. They did NOT deserve that, nor do YOU deserve for this to happen to you...and it is totally avoidable!
Also, those 3rd party places take up to 4-6 weeks or longer and they do not even label your DVDs. THAT is NOT a personalized, caring service!

WHAT I CAN CONVERT TO DVD and to USB Thumb Drive
*Video Tapes - (All formats) VHS, S-VHS, VHS-C, MiniDV and Digital 8)
Note: VHS-C is the tape that goes into an adaptor and then into the VCR. I have adaptors so you don't need to bring me yours unless you don't need yours anymore. If its the battery-operated kind I'd be interested in taking it off your hands in exchange for pricing adjustment.
*Old Film Reels - 8mm, Super8mm or16mm (Silent or with Sound)
*Color Slides 35mm (loose or in carousels) to a USB thumb drive
***Music can be added to silent films for more enjoyable viewing. I add easy listening, instrumental music, which is time appropriate for the decade(s) of your film reels or you may request custom music.
NOTE: ANYTHING converted to DVD can also be exported to USB Thumb Drive. This is optional but highly recommended.
There are additional service fees.
Your DVD(s) and/or Thumb Drives can also be uploaded to YouTube
for an additional service fee (or you can do this yourself).
