I have worked with Thomas twice on converting old family VHS tapes to DVD and flash drive. Both times my tapes were professionally handled, converted, and given back in a short time frame with great results! I liked having the peace of mind knowing they were being handled locally with care instead of mailed out to a third party.

Tom converted several 8mm films and some videos tapes for us. He explained the process, gave us a heads up of potential issues with older films. The final product came out great; he even added music to the background and also a bag of popcorn for us to enjoy as we watched the video. Product was delivered on time and he updated us on progress. Would definitely use again. Thanks for saving our memories.

I found working with Thomas to be a very pleasant and professional experience. He communicates clearly and timely. I dropped off six VHS tapes for conversion at 2pm and by 6pm he left me a message that the project was complete. The quality of the output to DVD and the thumb drive was as good as the original VHS tapes. I highly recommend his services.

A job well done. Thomas Rodre was able to take segments on videotapes from the early 2000s and digitize them into MP4 files that I now keep on a USB thumb drive as well as on my laptop (a MacBook Pro). Tom is extremely professional and has excellent communication skills. I thought his prices were both reasonable and competitive, and far better than the larger outfits like Legacy. Quality was very good on the transfers, and Tom finished the work in timely manner. He insures that your tapes are handled with care and mails back your original tapes only after you receive you new ones. I would highly recommend him to friends and family .

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
NEW Thumbtack customers enjoy a 15% discount off my regular pricing.
My pricing is based upon the quantity and length of your video tapes and film reels. For color slides, prices are based upon the quantity of slides you have. Please contact me directly for pricing estimate for your transfer needs.
Note: Optional - MUSIC can be added to your silent films or color slide shows. Please ask me about doing this when we speak.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
i will discuss your needs with you and give you an estimate. and a clear explanation of what I will be doing and what you can realistically expect. You may either bring me your media or I will pick it up and give you a written receipt for your property along with the estimate.
There is NO deposit or payment upfront. I do the transfers and notify you when they are done along with the final cost. I get paid when you have your new DVDs or CDs and if also ordered, usb flash drive in your hands along with your returned property.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a Social event and Sports Videographer since 1995 and a Transfer Specialist since 2008. I have mastered the use of digital conversion equipment : dual vhs/dvd player/recorders, film projectors, video file conversion software, editing software, color slide scanners, epson DVD labeling printers and more.
