FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While pricing does start at $175, every ceremony is different, so pricing depends on the type of ceremony, location, level of customization, rehearsal needs, and any special elements you would like included. I believe in transparent pricing—any travel fees or optional services will be discussed before you book, so there are no surprises. Pricing is also available on our website. There is a form available to help calculate ceremony and travel prices to make things easy, customizable and transparent. My goal is to create a meaningful ceremony that fits both your vision and your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with a relaxed conversation so I can get to know you, hear your story, and understand how you want your ceremony to feel. Traditionally this is done over a virtual meeting, but can be done in person. From there, I’ll send you a few thoughtful questions to help me create a ceremony that feels personal and authentic. Once I receive your answers, I’ll prepare the first draft within two business days. You’ll have the opportunity to review it, request changes, and collaborate with me until it feels completely right. On the wedding day, I’ll arrive prepared, organized, and ready to help everyone feel comfortable.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ordained wedding officiant since 2007 and am authorized to perform wedding ceremonies. My professional background also includes extensive experience in leadership, public speaking, writing, planning, and working with people from many different backgrounds. I’m also a notary public and notary signing agent. Just as importantly, I bring patience, warmth, attention to detail, and the ability to make people feel comfortable even when emotions or nerves are running high.
