Introduction: My students are always amazed at their final essay. Together we create a masterpiece. It's so much fun to start from scratch and come up with a winning essay! The process is incredibly rewarding! I love my job! Working with students who have no idea what to write about is a challenge I am always willing to accept. During our brainstorming session, we almost always experience that "aha" moment when we know what the essay is going to be about. Watching it unfold is pure magic! That said, the creative process is not the only part of what I do. We love to check off the boxes in my business! Filling out applications, researching scholarships, applying for scholarships: it feels so good to check that box when it's done! I am passionate about what I do, and I am eager to help you!

Cara worked with both my twin girls on their college essay and she was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and very patient with the girls. She was able to work individually utilizing their strengths and helping them with any areas in which they may have had a weaknesses. The quality of the essays was excellent and the amount of time spent was catered to each girl. Cara went above and beyond and I would highly recommend her!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For my essay and scholarship students, I spend an hour getting to know the student before developing a game plan. We brainstorm on their unique qualities that will make them appealing to college admissions or scholarship committees. After the initial meeting we share ideas, edits, and techniques via google docs. This allows student and adviser to work in the comfort of their own home on their own schedule. More face-to-face meetings are always an option, but most students love this process for its flexibility.
