FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All quotes are preliminary until we conduct an on-site inspection to verify job conditions and scope of work. This ensures an accurate and fair estimate. After the site survey: 🛠️ The quote is confirmed based on verified conditions. ⚠️ If any unseen or hidden issues are discovered during the work, all work will immediately pause until a revised estimate is approved and a revised contract is signed. 🔄 Similarly, if the customer requests changes to the scope of work after the original quote is provided, a revised contract must be completed before work resumes. We’re committed to transparency and keeping you informed every step of the way. This process ensures your project stays on track and aligns with your expectations—no surprises, no confusion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is designed to keep things smooth, clear, and professional from start to finish. Here’s how we typically work with new clients: Initial Contact & Discovery We begin by understanding your needs—whether it's a home improvement project, embroidery request, or technical installation. We'll ask a few key questions to clarify your goals and timeline. Preliminary Estimate Based on the initial information, we provide a rough quote for your review. This gives you a starting point and helps set expectations. On-Site Consultation To finalize the details, we schedule an on-site inspection. This allows us to verify conditions, take accurate measurements, and assess any unique aspects of your space. Final Quote & Scope Agreement After the inspection, we issue a revised, confirmed quote. If everything looks good, we move forward with a signed agreement outlining the full scope, timeline, and payment schedule. Project Execution Once the contract is in place, we begin work—maintaining clear communication and keeping you updated at every step. If any hidden issues arise or if you’d like to make changes, we pause work and issue a revised estimate and contract for your approval. Completion & Walkthrough After the job is complete, we do a final walkthrough with you to ensure everything meets your expectations before wrapping up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a solid foundation from vocational school training, where I gained hands-on knowledge in trades and technical work. That was just the beginning—I've since built over 40 years of real-world experience across a wide range of services, including home improvement, technical installations, carpentry, and more. From installing LED lighting and building custom patios to tackling full attic conversions and delivering precise embroidery work, my skills are rooted in both education and decades of problem-solving in the field. This combination of formal training and practical expertise allows me to approach every job with confidence, precision, and professionalism.
