ProLift repairs all garage door components and doors in the Monmouth and Ocean counties. We also sell and install new doors for our customers. We would rather repair or fix your door or opener than sell you a new door or opener which saves you money. ProLift is a national franchise that has been in business since the 1980's. Our technicians all have at least 10 years of experience repairing and installing all components of a garage door. We work with all the major opener brands as well as having our own ProLift opener brand.

Don Schwarz came to repair a couple of my garagedoors a few days ago. I wasnt expecting them to come and repair that day, I thought it was just an estimate. But when he said I have all the supplies in my truck, Ill do it right now for ya I couldnt have been happier. I was elated with how polite and knowledgeable Don was. He fixed both garagedoors, adding new pulleys, new rollers, new springs, as well as new cables. He had my garagedoors opening and closing with quiet efficiency. He also replaced 2 control panels on the wall and provided me with 2 remotes for my wire and I. Thank you Don!!

Extremely happy that I chose pro lift for new doors, openers and conversion to a high lift track! Don and Roger were involved at all steps in the process including being present for electrician when new outlets needed to be relocated. On initial consult (while getting quoted), Don fixed a nagging problem with a keypad free of charge. Highly recommend!

Because we are a nationwide company we have great buying power with our suppliers and can pass those savings on to our customers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We make an appointment to inspect what needs to be done and provide the homeowner an estimate and they can choose to move forward or not at that time.
We don’t try to sell our customers we educate them about their system.
We would prefer to fix the system or door than sell you a new door.
It saves our customers money.
If a customer does require a new door, we measure the opening, head room, side room, distance from the back wall and thickness of the door. We ask the customer his or her preferences on windows, no windows and door design. We can typically provide an estimate on the spot. If the estimate requires more complexity we can typically provide an estimate via e-mail within a day or two..
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have trained technicians. We require 5 years of industry experience before we hire. We also have remote training sessions for our technicians and training from all of our suppliers. We are licensed by the state of NJ.
