I am SO THANKFUL that we hired Keith Frye of Reasonable Priced Magician for our 8 year's old's Harry Potter themed birthday party. His tricks captivated all 25 of the kids, ranging in age from 3 to 11. He truly was the hit of party, remaining in character the whole time as a student of wizarding school. I am recommending him to everyone! AMAZING show with an even more amazing price! THANK YOU!!!Mar 12, 2017Verified
We had a great experience with Keith as the magician for my son's 4th birthday party! Both kids and adults really enjoyed his show. Everything went perfectly, he was very professional, and responded quickly to any inquiries or requests I had. I got a lot of compliments from all the parents, and we would certainly hire him again in the future.Jan 3, 2017Verified
We hired Reasonably Priced Magician via Thumbtack for a Harry Potter party for my son and niece. Right away, we switched over to using my personal email account, and exchanged several emails in the weeks leading up to the party. All my questions were answered in a timely and thorough manner. I was impressed at the magician's ability to hold the attention of a large group of rowdy first graders. The show was engaging and fun for everyone, and our magician had both children and adults laughing. Everyone agreed that we were given a show with just the right combination of magic and humor. Overall, we very satisfied with the price, service, communication, and punctuality of Reasonably Priced Magician. Keith has a nice way about him. He's very good with children, as he is subtle and not over the top flashy or in their face. Some entertainers are just too much and turn off kids who are more shy or overstimulated easily. Keith really read the crowd and within 5 minutes of our 50 minute show, he knew his audience and catered to exactly what the kids wanted, while also throwing in understated "British humor" style jokes for the parents. I would recommend their services and will use them in the future for my daughter's birthday parties when she's a bit older.Jan 19, 2016VerifiedReasonably Priced Magician's reply
Thank you Ashley, for your kind, considerate amd thoughtful post. It was a pleasure, to be sure. ~ Keith
Show was very good kids were engaged during performance. What bothered me was they collected payment and left without me knowing or saying anything to me. I understand I was busy attending to my guest but it would have been nice to be told they were leaving. Also the balloon animals were mostly all swords which I expected more since it was extra. But overall everyone was entertained and pleased. They were late but there was unfavorable weather and they did call to inform me.Nov 11, 2017Reasonably Priced Magician's reply
Hello - thank you for sharing your concerns. I make it a point to thank my host(ess) and part with a handshake - that's simply common courtesy. If we did leave quickly, it was because we had another party on our itinerary. I make it a point to Exit Big, by waving my hat and loudly saying "Good Bye! Good Bye!". I do this so the children take notice and play more carefully with their balloon sculpt - once we're gone, no replacements for breakage. Swords are a mixed blessing - once one child gets one, they all want one. And they break more quickly. If there were a lot of swords, it was due to the "Sword Effect" and not by our own initiative. I'm pleased that you thought the show was very good - please understand that if we bustled out, there was no slight intended. Kind regards, Keith & Megan
