Saving Grace Photography's style is about capturing emotion and interaction - the emotion between a father and his daughter; the interaction that evolves between siblings; the purity of love between new parents and their tiny newborn, or the more familiar and sometimes chaotic love of a large family, complete with multiple children and family pets. She sees the world in a unique way, her vision enhanced by her use of light and shadow. She has photographed in the darkest rooms and on the beach at midday and is comfortable in both places. Owner and photographer Janine Dietz's images have been described as luminous, as having a certain dreamy quality, but most of all as being real - depicting the depth, humor, and the love within every family. After several years working on a book, Janine picked up a camera and discovered a more effective way of telling a story. She has never looked back.
