I contacted Smart Choice by e-mail for a radon test. They contacted me immediately by return e-mail. I am the type of person who needs to totally understand, whats involved with the testing but also the reason for it. Since I was new to this I had lots of questions which they answered thoroughly. A price estimate for the test was provided; a date & time scheduled and was kept updated on the expected time of arrival the day of. Would highly recommend.

Brandon did my home inspection. He explained everything he found very thoroughly. He got us our report the next morning since we had a time crunch of when we could submit negotiations by from the home inspection. We were able to get credits towards the closing costs after the home inspection.

Smart choice inspection went above and beyond just as the other reviewers have shared prior. They came in and thoroughly inspected the house and the radon test result was instantaneous. The report itself was very long because they not only include pictures of their findings but also very detailed and illustrated explanation of why it's a problem. Will recommend over and over

Fair priced.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Simple:
1. Giving us the address of the home you’re in the process of purchasing.
2. Letting us know what additional services you’d be interested in. (Radon measurement, oil tank sweep, etc)
3. We take a look at the property and all of its information online and offer a quote
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our inspectors are Certified Master Inspectors by NACHI (minimum of 1,000 inspections required to apply to become certified) that first earned their initial license in the 1 year Home Inspection Course, prior to required state testing. Our inspectors also have up-to-date Radon Measurement Technician licenses and certified to use CRM devices for faster results. Certified to perform mold inspections, wood destroying insect inspection and certified to perform Lead Safe Inspections needed for many municipalities to issue C.Os. Fully insured and trained to conduct oil tank sweeps and GPR scans as well.
Inspectors also have prior contracting experience.
