FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is already discounted based on industry averages and the competition in this area. I have a basic minimum charge for simple returns, and most times I zero out the fee for the client because when the final product is ready, the benefit is more than the fee. Most of the time, people ask a simple question, "hey how much will be charge to do my taxes?" The question is simple, but the answer is complicated because, without seeing the prior year's taxes or knowing how much work is involved this year, it is hard to assess what should be a fair fee. I don't play mind games or use bait and switch tactics to get business. My formula is simple: you tell me what is involved, and I will quote you an honest price, most times less than the competition. You will always get your money's worth and value by coming to a professional CPA like me. I use all the deductions legally available to a taxpayer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers can scan, email, fax, or upload their documents to my secure portal for privacy and safety. Mailing is also an option, but it may delay the turnaround time by a few more days.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a university graduate with graduate-level knowledge and a CPA License with 25 years of practical experience in filing, saving, and resolving IRS and State Income Tax compliance and issue resolution.
