I got my wife a cooking lesson and she could not have been more satisfied with Chef Jake. Although certainly not an expert, my wife still had a good amount of home cooking experience and was able to take away a TON of knowledge. Jake helped my wife make a curry cauliflower, chick pulao, a curry spice mix and a cucumber raita dish. He broke down each element of the recipe in a simple and easy to understand matter. I cannot recommend Chef Jake highly enough!!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I am here to serve your needs. Just tell me what you want to know about cooking and/or food and I would be more than happy to help. I love teaching people about food, I can cook with you, or for you. If you want a romantic dinner at home but don't want the stress, look no further. If you want a cooking class for a few of your friends, I would be happy to bring that service to you!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I graduated with distinction from the International Culinary Center of the fine city of New York. I also was a Sous Chef at a busy Italian restaurant in New York for over a year before moving to New Jersey.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always loved cooking. I abandoned a career I had no passion for, to pursue something I know I enjoy and I never looked back.
