I connected with David after nearly a year of total inactivity, significant weight gain and immobilizing depression from the extended covid-19 isolation. I wasn’t sure exactly what I needed but I knew that hiring a personal trainer was likely the only way to motivate myself to start moving again. David has been an absolute God send! From the first meeting, he put me at ease with his warm and encouraging presence and coached me back into movement. I felt so good after our initial session that I booked him for several weeks of training. The experience was nothing short of incredible. David possesses the unique ability to keep fitness interesting, carefully balance structured workout routines according to individual needs/areas of challenge and growth (I train with him 4-5x weekly!) and customize training regimens that are exciting and instructive. His wide ranging knowledge regarding fitness and martial arts equip him with a truly multi-faceted approach to wellness. While I came to him to get moving, lose weight and build muscle, he has also provided impactful instruction on functional strength training, core conditioning and mixed martial arts (which I was sure I had left behind forever 25 years ago!) I leave my workout sessions with David both invigorated and motivated to continue on my fitness journey because I can see how that foundation sets me up for a more balanced and energized life! David has not only set me on the path to achieving my physical objectives, he’s also inspired me to rediscover my own strength and to remain steadfast on the road to my best self. I’m grateful to continue to train with him every week and would recommend him to any and all!!!

Dave provides excellent personal attention and a thorough, well-planned, balanced, and varied fitness experience in each session. Both cardio and muscle strength are emphasized. Happy to recommend his services.

I had a great experience with Dave. He always switched it up and brought new training material to the workouts. That kept my body always ready for something different. He will not steer you in the wrong direction whatever your goals may be and I highly suggest you try him out whether your goals are to lose weight, gain weight, gain knowledge and skill it’s a various range of mma, he’s able to accomplish that. He was very knowledgeable on all ranges of topics from fitness to any style of fighting.

I liked David's emphasis on "functional fitness". Every movement he showed me had it's objective of making me more efficient in the areas in which I was interested. Martial arts being one area in which David appeared to have extensive knowledge. He was able relate the resistance training to specific sports movements which benefited my game greatly. His positive attitude will most certainly help you achieve any fitness goal to which you aspire.

David is so experienced and personable. His training ability and skills are obvious. He is knowledgeable as is able to adapt the fitness training to the level of the individual (me). I think the fitness trainings were motivating and I enjoy the tempo of the workouts. And... his prices are really reasonable :-) Thanks David!
