I can't recommend Silver Bay Translations highly enough. They translated 31 handwritten family letters that are 100 years old and written in a language with a different alphabet. In some places the handwriting was small, or faint, or the words bled through from the other side. Silver Bay was courteous, professional, prompt, and responsive to questions and special requests. Our family has gained so much treasured information about our family members: their daily life, their sorrows, struggles and joys. Even though we have never met them and they are no longer alive, we feel as if we know them. Thank you, Silver Bay!

I would have selected all 5 if this were an option. Truly top service rendered every time. Silver Bay Translations is running a very tight ship. Communication is excellent, the quality of the work delivered is second to none and they are just so easy to work with. Not to mention how quickly they complete the translations. I had a six page letter written by a relative from Germany in 1986 translated recently and Silver Bay was excellent in all respects. I have several more documents that also need translating and I will definitely choose Silver Bay to do the additional work. I was kept informed of progress and even though I told them the translation was not urgent, they completed the work in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Silver Bay for your translation needs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our standard rates for certified translations start at $19 per page and for non certified translations they start at $15 page. Concrete quotes are not provided until the potential project has been reviewed. Return customers are always eligible for discount pricing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first identify the customer's needs and review any materials they have. Once the service is agreed upon, we complete the project and our standard deadline times more most small projects 24-48 hours and for larger projects 72 hours or more.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 15 years of experience providing translation, interpreting, and foreign language instruction worldwide.
