Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I studied at The Juilliard School for my masters degree, The New England Conservatory for my graduate diploma and I currently teach and in residence at Yale University. I teach Suzuki, but I am not strict Suzuki unless the student wants that. In addition to my private studio, I taught an outreach class through Juilliard ages 4-8. I have taught at Music Academy of the West through a teaching fellowship program as well Aspen Music Festival. Teaching is as passion of mine. I love inspiring students with music as much as it has inspired me!

Violin Lessons

Erica’s guidance has done wonders for my playing in a short amount of time. She has helped me make real progress on all of my goals, and she is always very thoughtful and understanding. Lessons are both enjoyable and productive. I would highly recommend taking lessons with her.

Violin Lessons (for adults)

Erica has been extremely helpful, super nice, and so accommodating. The lessons are going good and talking to other musicians (we have no musical experience) her mix of suzuki and reading notes is the way to go.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes, as I said I received a bachelor degree at Cleveland Instiute of Music, I have a master of music degree from The Juilliard School and I am towards a doctorate from University of Maryland.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I love playing the violin and performing. That is a give away. But the first time a gave a lesson 6 years ago I realized that teaching is also a passion of mine.
