FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all begins with a conversation about their (or their children's) prior experience if any, specific goals and what they are looking for. We then look at scheduling and availability and try to match with the best suited teacher.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of Music Educators Association of NJ. Additionally the value added of having 14 teachers, half of whom have advanced degrees, is that we always are sharing information, tips, strategies, teaching ideas and staying on top of the latest teaching methodologies and repertoire.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We have given private lessons to students as young as 4 and a half, although our recommended age is 5 and a half to 6 and a half. We work with teens who are trying to prepare for college auditions and we work with adults who never had time to learn when they were younger, or did play but are rusty and want to put some time in so they can enjoy playing again.
