My church is "Open & Affirming" of people of all races and ethnic origins, and welcomes the gay and lesbian community. Reverend Rusty was a joy to work with before, during and after our wedding ceremony. We came across his church - Holmdel Community United Church of Christ - in passing. We were getting married at Bayonet Farm and the church was close to the farm. He was so welcoming to us as non-members and worked with us to personalize our wedding ceremony and prepare us with some pre-marriage counseling sessions. Our wedding ceremony was truly incredible and that's largely because of Rev. Rusty's professionalism, compassion and respect for us and our day.
