I am a tutor in all aspects of garment construction, for instance, sketching, sewing, patternmaking and grading.
I will teach you how to make your own custom-made outfits such as jackets, skirts, tops and dresses for any occasion and also alterations.
Beginners to intermediate levels are welcome.

I had my second session with Mercia. She's a professional, knows what's she talking about in both aspects of sewing and designing. She has notes, worksheets with instructions, and many samples ready in order to show what we are learning. She asks me lots of questions to make sure that I am obtaining what we are going over. She's a great!! teacher, she wants me to learn, so she demonstrates and gives me plenty of opportunity to it myself until I get it right. She is very encouraging, which I like very much. I am eager to learn more!!
