Introduction
I do the following:
* Create, develop, and merchandise seasonal collections for branded, private label, and licensed product for the Women's, Men's, and Kid's apparel categories
* Design presentations and prepare tech packets with flat sketches, boards, themes, color, print/pattern/graphics, specifications, garment construction and details, and fabric quality
* Conceive original design concepts, sketches, illustrations, CAD prints and graphics, embellishments, and embroideries
* Direct the correct execution of styles from concept through final line adoption by managing daily communications with overseas factories and vendors utilizing sample review, fit, lab dip/strike off and fabric approvals for detailed follow through to ensure proper execution of product
* Identify emerging trends from market research, fashion trends, competition, and the target customer
* Interpret into the development of innovative marketable product that supports profitable growth
