Introduction: As someone who was raised on blues and classic rock music, I try to take a very musical and feel-based approach to every project that I work on. Every project is different and every artist has different methods they like to work by. When tracking, I try to find out the band/ artist is most comfortable performing and adapt a recording set-up to those conditions as much as possible while still maintaining the highest sonic standard possible. When mixing, I really try to get in to the idea behind a track and improve the ideas that are already in place. Growing up around a lot of classic rock and live music, I know that so much of the sound is dependent on the players/ artist and how they perform. I try to bring out the best of that in the studio. Music is and always has been my biggest passion in life. I realized at one point that its something I hear better than I play and I am able to work doing what I love most; getting involved with music and making things sound good!
