Claus was awesome to work with! He made me a centerpiece sample for my wedding a few months ahead and we discussed changes/additions. He listened and carried out everything we discussed perfectly. I love that he is an event -only florist. He was at my venue on my wedding day setting up and making sure everything was perfect! Recommended him to a friend already!! A++

I really loved the quality and look of my bouquets and centerpieces. The owner Klaus was very responsive both over email and phone, and the flowers were timely delivered to the right people on the big day. However, there was a miscommunication issue about payments. The bill stated that the final amount was due 10 days before the event, but I was contacted 6 weeks before my wedding and informed that full payment is required before the flowers can even be ordered and that they would take that many weeks to order and prepare. Luckily, I was able to pay it early, but I still believe that vendors should honor the payment schedules they set forth in the original contract. If the flowers need to be paid in full before ordering and it takes 6 weeks to order, then there never should have been a 10 day payment clause in the first place. Additionally, I felt that Klaus was a little brusque and dismissive of my concerns during our meetings. However, I appreciated his responsiveness and punctuality and overall, the flowers were a hit.

I like to individualize each brides flowers to her personal needs and budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Make an appointment for a face to face meeting or a phone discussion. Learn from the bride what her visions for wedding flowers are. Talk about options to help stay within her budget and then give an accurate estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in the flower industry since 1978 and studied at NY design studios for years. Have owned a retail business, Webs Flowers in Somerset, and this event only flower company, Brandywine Floral Design in East Brunswick for 8 years.
