Kim’s Piano lessons

35+ years of experience teaching piano, with the goal of sharing the beauty of music and joy of playing piano with my students. Currently accepting students of all levels of experience and ages (beginner to advanced) interested in learning piano, ranging from classical to pop. Former students have gone on to pursue music at colleges and conservatories alike, including Princeton University, Brown University, and Hochschule für Musik (Cologne University of Music) I provide personalized lessons tailored to each student’s level and musical goals, from beginner to advanced and classical to contemporary / pop. By striking a balance between developing fundamental techniques and fostering a deep understanding and passion for piano and musical overall, I am able to ensure every lesson is both effective and enjoyable. Graduated with a Bachelor’s in Music from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea and a Master’s in Music from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ.
