Installation was fine. What was not fine was how much in a hurry the technicians were. They were about to walk out when I said, wait, what am I supposed to do? Oh, he says, in an hour flip back the circuit breaker and the emergency switch to on. An hour after that, try the water. I was left with my mouth hanging open. Why do I have to do that stuff, messing with circuit breaker and electrical? Two hours later the water was not hot. After numerous texts to tech, I was given instructions to pop the circuit breaker again, flip switch again. No hot water. After more texts, I was told to open the box and press reset button. Finally I put my foot down and said this is not my area of expertise, you come here and fix it. Next day, a young man came and looked at circuit breaker, examined HTW. Reported that all is ok with HWH and likely it is a circuit breaker problem. I started calling electricians. After awhile I tried the hot water and it worked. Now 4 days later I still cringe when I turn on hot water, thinking something may not work. What an unhappy ordeal this has been. Why did I have to wait an hour to flip the circuit? Why didn't they do it when they left? They also left the huge cardboard box which is waiting for recycle. I could barely pick kit up! Yes, very unhappy.

Pro Water Heaters NJ's reply
I really don’t know where the miscommunication was here. The heater was always getting electric. It was a faulty breaker when we went back to check it everything was working fine and the reason why we tell the customer not to turn the water heater back on for an hour, because with an electric heater, you have to get all the air out of the line with the elements could fry Besides from that. Everything’s working fine. I feel bad for the customer that thinks her every time she turns the hot water on it’s not gonna be hot. All we do is hook up the hot and cold water supply and the electric back to where it was and that’s what we’ve done here I hope the customer understands at this point since I explain myself.
