If I could give negative stars, I would. I strongly urge everyone to stay away from this business. The contractor from Hudson Homes Remodeling Services came to my apartment to look at what needed to be fixed and provided an estimate. We agreed on the price and schedule. I paid a down-payment and we set a start date. On the morning he was to begin work, he texted saying he could not come that day. He assured me he would get back to me by the end of day so we could reschedule. When I did not hear from him as promised, I called and he told me that he would be able to start the project the following week and would confirm the specific date later that day. When I did not hear from him again, I sent a follow-up text and received no response. I called him and, of course, he did not answer, nor did he get back to me about rescheduling.

Thankfully I was able to get my money back, but the unprofessionalism and unreliability of this business is truly unimaginable. You would think it is a basic courtesy and best practice to let clients know if they cannot handle a new project as supposed to stringing them along.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with us. We aim to please everyone we work with. We always, 100% refund any money exchanged IMMEDIATELY if services are not rendered for whatever reason. In this case your refund went back to you without you requesting it from us. We initiated the refund the moment we knew the project wasn't going to be taken on. Remember, we are always working with our hands and in precarious situations at times, sometimes even noisy situations, so if we don't respond to messages instantly, for that I do apologize. Having a team to field messages solely, in this field, isn't too feasible, but we do answer messages on a first come first served basis. Good luck on your project!

Too too long to get back to me, each time we communicated it took hours in between for him to respond ,then when he finally did get back to me to set up the appointment, he never showed up to do the job.
Ridiculously unprofessional..

Hello Dennis. We are very sorry you didn't feel you recieved our undivided attention when reaching out to us. Unfortunately we don't have a team that solely fields messages and emails on the app. We are working on that. As contractors we usually are working physically with our hands and sometimes in precarious situations that don't allow us to immediately stop what we are working on to answer messages and emails. We do answer our messages when time allows, just as it is with all professions. With that being said, we never set up a time for the date that was mentioned because we felt you were not a right fit for us. We would like to work with everyone, but sometimes either the job or the client isn't a right fit. I can assure anyone that hires us that we will do the job right and at a great value!!
