Introduction: We have been doing this type of craftsmanship for many years. We pride ourselves in doing the best work and proper job possible. We never take short cuts that we have seen some other so called professionals do. Doing upholstery and repairs, we unfortunately see the quick and improper methods done by the other so called crafts people instead of them just doing the right thing and using the better materials and taking the time to do the proper repair that will last a lifetime. We love making people happy! When we are presented with a project, such as a piece of furniture that has seen better times, so to speak, it becomes a labor of love for us to restore it to it's original or much better condition and then see our customers over joyed reaction. We have had many customers moved to tears when they see their furniture looking beautiful again! This makes all our work worthwhile!

E&S replaced the foam in a sofa cushion and redid the cushion in a desk chair. Beautiful work. Both are better than when I first purchased the items. They picked up the items and delivered them to me. I plan to have them fix another sofa cushion in the near future. I’m sitting in comfort and style with E&S!

Working with E & S to reupholster our dining chairs was a fantastic experience. From the beginning, Yvonne was extremely generous with her time, talking me through the process and the options and taking care to understand our needs (especially in terms of stain-proof fabric that would survive our young kids). She kept the process moving, was very responsive to my questions, kept me on track without being pushy, and made the entire experience positive, even enjoyable. Carl did incredible work on our chairs. Not only did he do perfect work on the upholstery and replace our deflated foam cushions, he went out of his way to touch up the wood (matching the stain perfectly) and tighten up the frames (which involved replacing lost hardware). Our 30-year-old, well-loved chairs look better than new. I find myself going out of my way to work at the dining table because the chairs are so comfortable. I would call E & S again in a heartbeat!

E & S Upholstery did a great job recovering our leather chair and ottoman. Our close to 20 year old chair & ottoman look perfect and way better than they looked when we first bought them. Yvonne suggested using reconditioned leather, which looked great and saved us close to $1,000. The only problem was that the job took much longer than the 6 weeks we were promised. Still, it was well worth the wait.

It started out as a hobby and turned into a full time job.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We do a lot of re-upholstery, repairs, new foam for cushions, re-web sofa and chair seats, window treatments, drapery, car seats, boat and RV's.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions. Don't assume that they really know what they are doing. Like Sy Sims, the old clothing guy, an educated consumer is our best customer!
